As part of the Manufacturing Innovation & Technology (MIT) team within Medtronic's Operations Innovation organization, the Sr. Engineering Manager, integrated Center of Excellence (iCOE) Polymer Shaping & Molding (PSM), leads an integrated team advancing polymer molding, micro-molding, and additive polymer manufacturing technologies from concept through scalable deployment. This role drives both hands-on technology development and enterprise manufacturing strategy, overseeing feasibility, process development, and transfer into manufacturing and NPI while defining long-term investment and capability roadmaps.

In close partnership with R&D, R&T, AME, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, the Sr. Manager ensures the delivery of compliant, scalable, and high-impact manufacturing solutions, translating innovation into measurable operational value through a team of technical SMEs and strategic leaders.

+ Oversees the investigation and evaluation of existingmanufacturingtechnologies.

+ Guides the conceptualization of newmanufacturingmethodologies, materials, machines,processesor products.

+ Directs the development of new concepts frominitialdesign to market release.

+ Manages feasibility studies of the design todetermineif capable of functioning as intended.

+ Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases ofmanufacturingtechnologyresearch and development.

+ Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensuretimelydelivery.

+ Selects,develop sand evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

** MUST HAVE**  (Minimum Qualifications)

+ 7+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree

+ 5+ years of managerial experience

** NICE TO HAVE**  (Preferred Qualifications)

+ Deep expertise in polymer molding, micro-molding, and/or additive polymer manufacturing technologies

+ Experience developing and deploying manufacturing technologies from concept through commercialization or NPI
