WhatYou’ll Do
- Own and improve quality processes for metal stamping, tooling, and secondary operations
- Develop inspection plans, control plans, and CMM programs to ensure product accuracy and efficiency
- Lead new product launches and PPAP submissions, including PFMEA and capability studies
- Program and optimize CMM equipment
- Partner with production to troubleshoot quality issues
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer and internal quality issues
- Analyze data using SPC, GR&R, and process capability tools to drive improvements
- Support and help lead ISO audits and customer quality initiatives
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to maintain strong quality performance
- 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing (metal stamping preferred)
- Experience with CMM programming and dimensional inspection (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar)
- Strong understanding of blueprints and GD&T
- Hands-on experience with PFMEA, control plans, and statistical analysis
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems (ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 preferred)
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Engineering or related field preferred
