Process Engineer

My client is looking for an experienced Process Engineer to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project managers, and client stakeholders to deliver both capital investment and operational improvement initiatives.

The role involves applying robust engineering principles to develop innovative, safe, and technically sound solutions that meet industry best practices. Success in this position requires the ability to work autonomously, demonstrate strong self‑motivation, and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical team members.

• Knowledge of mechanical/chemical engineering, design, and manufacturing principles (liquid processing preferred).
• Design and specify pumps, valves and chemical processing equipment.
• Serves as project manager on small sized projects coordinating with various roles and departments to accomplish project goals.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing production facilities and operations.
• Provide technical support as needed to the assigned projects.
• Assist in equipment troubleshooting and continuous plant improvement processes.
• Implements system modifications under cGMP change control.
• Supports qualification and validation projects.

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of two or more years’ experience in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Industrial experience in the following industries:
  Chemical manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, pharmaceutical or related fields.
