We're looking for an experienced engineer who enjoys hands‑on product development, technical leadership, and bringing innovative ideas to life.

• Lead the design and development of mechanical and electromechanical medical device systems from concept through production.

• Create 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, assemblies, and engineering documentation using Solid Works or similar tools.

• Develop and evaluate prototypes, perform testing, analyze results, and implement design improvements.

• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and other engineering teams to ensure successful product development and transfer to production.

• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM), tolerance analysis, and engineering best practices to optimize product performance and reliability.

• Support verification and validation activities, including development of test methods, protocols, and reports.

• Drive technical problem‑solving efforts and root‑cause investigations for complex engineering challenges.

• Lead technical projects or key subsystems, managing priorities, timelines, risks, and deliverables.

• Mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance and promoting engineering excellence.

• Communicate technical concepts, project updates, and design recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

• 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, product development, or related engineering disciplines.

• Strong experience designing mechanical systems and components using Solid Works or similar 3D CAD software.

• Hands‑on experience with prototyping, testing, and design verification.

• Experience working with cross‑functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.

• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.

• Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Experience developing medical devices, particularly within regulated environments.

• Experience with Class II and/or Class III medical devices.

• Experience developing electromechanical products or systems.

• Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack‑up analysis, and engineering design controls.

• Experience leading technical projects or mentoring engineers.

• Knowledge of medical device regulations, quality systems, or design control processes.

This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

The pay range for this position is $ - $/yr.

The expected starting salary for this position is $100,000 to $135,000 depending on qualifications. As part of your overall rewards, we offer a comprehensive benefits program. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program which depends on various factors, including, individual and organizational performance.

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Paul, MN.
