Senior Project Manager – Power Generation

We are seeking a qualified Senior Project Manager to help our clients develop, contract, and implement natural gas and potentially renewable energy generation projects while serving as Owner’s Engineer and/or Advisor.

• Develop and maintain positive and proactive client relationships.
• Achieve project schedule, quality, and profitability goals.
• Serve as proposal champion/manager and assist with proposal preparation, review of contract terms and conditions, and evaluate risks associated with the services being offered.
• Provide daily leadership to the project team and technical staff in completion of project activities.
• Provide regular communication and coordination within the project team and with the client so that the project work plan and the client’s expectations on deliverables are understood and aligned; monitor project deliverables for quality, completeness, and conformance to client expectations.
• Proactively monitor and maintain the project budget and schedule; develop appropriate recovery plans in the event of potential shortfalls.
• Monitor the contracted scope of work and identify scope changes.
• Provide training and mentoring to project team staff on project management and project consulting issues.
• Guide design or consulting work in the manager’s area of engineering expertise.
• Routinely report project progress to the local and regional accounting and operations team.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a combination of degree and relevant project experience.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant power generation project experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer.
• PMP Certification.
• Experience designing or managing simple‑cycle and combined‑cycle EPC projects as owner, owner’s engineer, OEM, or EPC contractor.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
• Demonstrated business development skills.
• Good communication, leadership, planning, and mentoring skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, and other relevant software.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10 years related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, and project management software.
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication (both written and verbal) skills.

Salary range: $118,703 – $223,125, adjusted by location and experience. New Jersey range: $92,736 – $144,000.
