This position within the State Aid for Local Transportation Division will be part of a team that delivers the local, state aid, state transportation, and federal programs to counties, cities, and townships statewide.  
** This position acts as a technical liaison and resource to leadership and local agencies in the State Aid for Local Transportation group.*
* ** This position will provide support to the Jurisdictional Transfer Program.*

* Duties include:

** Assist the Projects Engineer with the implementation of program goals, objectives, policies and procedures for the Jurisdictional Transfer program.*

** Assist the Projects Engineer with coordination between DSAEs and local agencies on the negotiation of jurisdictional transfers.*
* ** Assist with providing any technical, historical, and legislative knowledge regarding jurisdictional transfers.*
* +  
** Project management and assist with the project coordination, research and sharing of technical information related to special projects led or co-led by State Aid Operation.*
* ** This position is located at Central Office in St. Paul and may have the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.*

* Licensure as a professional engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design (AELSLAGID). If obtaining licensure through comity (reciprocity), a temporary permit from AELSLAGID must be provided to MnDOT HR prior to starting employment.
