Work Environment:This position is onsite at Mounds View North, 1st shift.
Responsibilities May Include:Analyzing, researching, designing, and developing materials and their related fabrication and application processes. Developing and optimizing materials for use in engineering design and application in structures, systems, and subsystems.
Additional Responsibilities:- Applying principles of chemistry, physics, and material behavior
- Developing metallic, nonmetallic, and composite material and processing specifications
- Conducting material analyses, including failure analysis, life predictions, and requirement specifications
- Reviewing and approving subcontractor material processing procedures
As a specialist, you'll be an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. You'll deliver and manage projects, working with other stakeholders to achieve desired results.
Required Knowledge andExperience:
Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within the job area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. A University Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 0 years of experience, are required.
