This position is located at district headquarters in roseville and has the flexibility to work in the office or a hybrid schedule that includes in office and teleworking time. If working a hybrid schedule, the incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.

This position provides professional assistance in the initiation and authorization of projects and programmatic work that is encompassed by mndot's capital highway investment plan (chip) and state transportation improvement program (stip). Related work can include planning-level investment analysis about the array of projects being considered for inclusion in the stip and chip. This position assists with analysis of project data to ensure compliance and accuracy with stip and chip processes.

This position helps to manage metro district's program information and is a key user of the underlying support systems; such as project unification management application (puma) project scheduling (p6), the capital highway investment management enterprise system (chimes), program and project management system (ppms), as well as elements of the statewide integrated financial tools (swift) system. This position assists with review and modification of construction financial data to ensure the quality and accuracy of state road construction (src) budget reconciliation.

This position is the initial point of coordination for project tracking and funding information, serving metro district, central office, metropolitan council and other partners. This position works in metro district's program management unit which actively monitors 350-400 highway construction projects representing over $1.5 billion in transportation investments.
