We'reseeking Controls Engineer Interns in all three of our core business units (Critical Handling Solutions, Advanced Manufacturing, and Automated Assembly) to gain firsthand career building experience with technologies such as PLCs, robots, servo motors, VFDs, computer vision and more.
The Controls Engineer Intern jumps right into theteamdesigning and troubleshooting both software and hardware necessary for integration of manufactured systems and products that are key deliverables to customers. No idea is too small or discovery too insignificant. We're always looking for the best innovations.
Bring the theoretical principles and techniques you learned in school to life by collaborating with experienced professionals and working on a wide range of projects. You will have the opportunity to help develop new technology, develop new software solutions, and support project integration activities. There are endless opportunities to explore. Your mentor along with other leaders and team members will provide you with rock solid support that will create space for you to achieve excellence.
Starting day one with a curious mind and goal driven attitude will clear a path to you growing your skills and knowledge.
- Junior or rising Senior in a relevant Engineering discipline (i.e., mechanical, electrical, controls, computer, mechatronics)
- Competent in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player who can also be independent with outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Some experience or course work with robotics, automation systems, circuit design, panel design/layout, control components, real-time OS, software development, PLC programming and process engineering preferred

We offer market competitive pay and benefits based upon the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Our starting rate of pay for this hourly position is targeted at $24 an hour and is eligible to receive overtime pay based on federal, state and local wage and hour laws.
