The Ordway: The Ordway is the arts epicenter of Saint Paul, Minnesota, and one of the leading nonprofit performing arts centers in the country. Founded on the belief that performing arts should be wide-ranging and accessible to all, the Ordway is home to a variety of performances that encompass the finest in Broadway musicals, concerts, dance and vocal artists. Known as the most comfortable place to catch a show in Minnesota, the Ordway includes a magnificent 1,900-seat Music Theater, a state-of-the-art 1,100-seat Concert Hall and spacious lobbies.

The Stage Coordinator is responsible for stage management at various performances for the Flint Hills Family Festival. This position will work the Flint Hills Family Festival from Tuesday, May 26 – Saturday, May 30.

- Venue manage a specific stage and all shows scheduled to perform on it.
- Greet performers and assist with their needs, before, during, and after their show.
- Trouble-shoot issues and provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate with union stagehands about the technical and stage requirements requested by artists.
- Document stagehand hours and complete show reports.
- Liaison with front of house and other Ordway staff and performers. Facilitate preshow announcers/post show announcers, special events for groups.
- Previous stage management experience required.
- Must be able to move quickly and freely.
- Able and willing to work outside in all conditions.
- Experience working with children preferred.
