Overview
OBJECTIVE: Park Manager is responsible for supervising the park employees' performance in their daily work activities. The Park Manager serves as a contact between guests and Kids Empire. They are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, resolving complaints, and addressing any questions or comments from guests or employees while present at Kids Empire. Park Managers ensure guests are having an excellent and safe time and must interact with families and children of all ages.
Responsibilities- Attend to guests promptly, greet them, and create a welcoming ambience in the park.
- Supervise park staff to meet performance expectations and production goals.
- Create weekly staff schedules and audit schedules, attendance, and time clocks.
- Hire qualified employees for park positions and manage statements, terminations, resignations, and job-abandonment cases as needed.
- Conduct performance evaluations and park assessments for the park and employees.
- Train team members to perform key elements of their roles.
- Open and close the park using keys or a code.
- Communicate guest or employee issues to appropriate channels.
- Manage the check-in process, including liability waivers and guest information collection (name, address, email, phone) via iPad.
- Operate front cash counter, handle transactions, and provide exact change when paid by cash; process card payments accurately.
- Verify billing transactions on the POS system.
- Organize and maintain park snacks and beverages inventory (drinks, chips, ice cream).
- Manage birthday party bookings and ensure customer satisfaction during events.
- Coordinate third-party vendor supplies, orders, or requests.
- Collaborate with corporate teams and use proper company channels for communication.
- Monitor snack inventory and reorder from specified vendors as needed.
- Walk the floor to identify and address unsafe hazards and ensure adherence to park rules and guidelines.
- Clean restrooms and sanitize park structures, including tables, chairs, and playground equipment.
- Schedule and coordinate family events and assist events to operate efficiently.
- Attend weekly meetings and communicate updates with development teams.
- Interact with suppliers and third parties as required.
- Oversee time and attendance setup and ensure accuracy of records.
- Support Amazon account audits across KE parks as needed.
- Provide assistance for operations chats and other duties as assigned.
- Stand, walk, bend, and twist constantly.
- Frequent bilateral hand movements and good finger dexterity.
- Work in noisy environments with children/yelling and music.
- tolerate a hectic and busy environment during peak hours.
- Work in a structured environment with defined procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Able to work with children and operate an iPad.
- Strong communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
- Leadership and teamwork abilities; capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
