About The 180 Group

The 180 Group is a meeting and event production company that designs and produces meetings, launches, and live experiences for the pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare industries. Our clients trust us with their most important moments, and flawless execution is our standard.

We operate by a principle we call "Be the Duck": calm and composed on the surface, focused and hard-working underneath. The work is both exciting and demanding. The standard is high, but we also know how to enjoy ourselves. The team is exceptional.

The Role

The Producer is the doer. You are the person who makes the program happen.

The Team Lead owns the program, the client relationship, and the outcome. You own the work. You build the show flow, you write the script, you manage the budget you are handed, you source and negotiate the vendors, you run the rehearsal, and you call the show. When the Team Lead needs something done right, they hand it to you.

You will interact with clients, vendors, venues, and crew. You will sit on client calls and you will be in the room on site. The Team Lead runs those relationships. You support them with work that holds up.

We are looking for someone with 5 to 10 years of hands‑on corporate event production or similar work. Someone who has done the work, not someone who managed the people who did it.

This is a full‑time, hybrid role based at 180 HQ in Woodbury, MN. Travel is required and can reach 50%, including domestic and international destinations. This role reports to the Team Lead (Producer).

What You’ll Do Program Execution
  • Execute assigned programs alongside the Team Lead and other producers, from kickoff through debrief.
  • Take the plan and make it real. Turn direction into documents, decisions, and deliverables.
  • Keep the production schedule accurate and flag what is slipping.
  • Come to internal production meetings with status, options, and a recommendation.
  • Spot risk early and surface it to the Team Lead before it becomes a problem.
Creative Development and Show Design
  • Contribute to creative development. Bring ideas to the room, then build out the ones that get picked.
  • Shape the arc of the day of an event. Content, pacing, energy, and the moments in between.
  • Do the last 10%. Walk‑in music, break flow, room transitions, the walk back to the room at the end of the night.
  • Build the materials that sell the idea internally and to the client.
Stage Readiness
  • Write and edit show flows and run of show documents
  • Manage presenter content deadlines and review cycles. Chase the decks and hold the
  • dates.
  • Ensure presenters feel comfortable and are prepared for what it will feel like on stage.
Budget Management
  • Help manage the approved program budget day to day. Track actuals against the plan.
  • Flag variance early and bring options, not just the number.
  • Bring change requests and added scope to the Team Lead. Do not commit anything to a client.
  • Support reconciliation at wrap.
Venue, Vendor, and Logistics
  • Source venues, review proposals, and manage the venue through the life of the program.
  • Own space planning and room flow on the non-technical side. Registration, meals, receptions, breakouts, and signage.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendors outside of AV. Scenic, entertainment, staffing, transportation, gifting, photo and video, and registration platforms.
  • Support site surveys and produce the logistics documentation that comes out of them.
Client and Partner Interaction
  • Join client calls, take direction, and follow through on what was committed.
  • Answer client and vendor questions inside your scope, and route the…
