Post – Closing Specialist

Responsible for performing a variety of post-closing loan servicing tasks. Functions include – opening mail, checking in files, stacking, DDH, and responding to routine client inquiries. This position requires a high level of accuracy and the ability to work with loan documentation, state specific standards, and compliance deadlines per client direction.

• Audit/Quality control as per Lender provided guidelines.
• Timely delivery of closed residential loan files to various lenders for funding
• Check-in closed files into computer system with accuracy.
• Stack and audit closed loan files up to 300 pages.
• Ability to understand all recordable documents and to identify them.
• Ability to handle client issues and corrections with professional responses via email.
• Ability to work quickly and calmly in a busy environment.
• Critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail is crucial.
• Solid organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with team members.

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to use basic computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent time management skills as well as attention to detail
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
