Billing Manager; Hybrid

Position: Billing Manager (Hybrid) up to $110k/yr
Ledgent Finance and Accounting has a prominent business services partner located in the St Paul area needing to add to their Billing team!

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily billing operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of billing specialists or analysts
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, pricing structures, and company policies
• Review and approve customer invoices, adjustments, and credits
• Partner with Accounts Receivable to resolve billing discrepancies and improve collections
• Maintain and enhance billing systems, processes, and internal controls
• Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure proper contract setup and revenue recognition
• Prepare and analyze billing metrics, reports, and KPIs for leadership
• Support month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations and reporting
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive billing, revenue, or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of billing systems, invoicing processes, and revenue cycles
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, etc.)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
