As a Financial Specialist, you will provide a range of bookkeeping functions for Guardianship Options by coordinating with Guardian/Conservator in the management and reporting of the financial affairs of its vulnerable clients.

As a Financial Specialist you will:
* Maintain financial documentation according to policy and present to all internal and external auditors upon request.
* Document and bill service hours for each assigned client following LSS GO policy and procedures.
* Handel all finances associated with the client's estate, including but not limited to payment of bills, reconciling accounts, handling deposits, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
* A two-year associate's degree is preferred.
* A minimum of two years of experience in accounting, banking or customer service is required.
* Coordinating skills required to organize and maintain separate financial records for 30 to 60 individual clients.
* Computer literacy, spreadsheets, word processing and basic budgeting is required.
* Strong communication skills are required to work as a team and present financial information in a conscientious manner. Also required to be a good listener and ask questions
* Strong administrative skills needed to monitor financial data and interrupt financial policies and procedures.
* Able to work under pressure and handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
* A DHS criminal background check is required.
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail regarding financial tasks (paying bills, transferring assets, depositing client funds).
* Good planning and organizational skills; able to determine priorities and manage time appropriately.
* Sound judgment and problem-solving skills required to analyze problems regarding best interests of clients
