Examines, certifies and audits vouchers submitted for payment, assessing compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures;
Establishes and maintains internal controls with emphasis on high-risk fraud, waste, and abuse areas;
Prepares fiscal, administrative, and other statistical reports and participates in related projects;
Responds to inquiries from Congressional Offices, Regional Counsel and Office of Inspector General;
Oversees the work of the Financial Specialist and ensures proper separation of duties and financial integrity of the regional office
