Financial Analyst - Wingspan Life Resources Wingspan Life Resources is seeking a highly-skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. As a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, Wingspan provides a wide range of services including residential care, employment opportunities, and social and recreational activities. We are looking for a talented individual who shares our passion for making a positive impact in the community through financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
Creating and maintaining financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes
Providing insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on financial data Preparing and presenting financial reports to management and stakeholders
Monitoring and reviewing financial performance against budget and prior year Conducting cost-benefit analysis for potential projects and initiatives
Collaborating with different departments to gather and analyze financial data Assisting in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans
Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline financial operations
Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field2-3 years of experience in financial analysis or related role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of non-profit finance and accounting principles is a plus
Experience with financial software such as Quick Books or SAP is preferred
