Financial Analyst
Wingspan Life Resources is seeking a highly-skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team.
As a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, Wingspan provides a wide range of services including residential care, employment opportunities, and social and recreational activities.
We are looking for a talented individual who shares our passion for making a positive impact in the community through financial analysis and strategic decision-making. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
- Creating and maintaining financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Providing insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on financial data
- Preparing and presenting financial reports to management and stakeholders
- Monitoring and reviewing financial performance against budget and prior year
- Conducting cost-benefit analysis for potential projects and initiatives
- Collaborating with different departments to gather and analyze financial data
- Assisting in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline financial operations
- Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis or related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of non-profit finance and accounting principles is a plus
- Experience with financial software such as Quick Books or SAP is preferred
