Position SummaryThe Site Controller for the White Bear Lake, MN location is responsible and accountable for all financial data for internal and external users. The Site Controller will provide accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support effective decision-making and ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies. The Site Controller will provide leadership to the local finance team and will be a strong financial partner to the business with significant contribution to the site management team.
The individual will be an active driver within the site management team.
What You’ll Do Every Day:
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team at the site. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for the site(s). Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with site management, sales organization and other functions to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor and control costs within the site(s), review and approve expenses, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization. Implement cost control measures to achieve financial targets.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide insights on financial performance drivers to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting, safeguard company assets, and comply with financial regulations and organizational policies. Conduct periodic reviews to identify and address any control gaps.
- Collaborate effectively with cross functional both at the site and across Medevio, providing financial insights, guidance, and support to drive business performance and achieve strategic objectives. Act as a trusted advisor to the site management team, providing financial expertise on operational decisions.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting. Streamline workflows, automate manual tasks, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
