Minnesota Housing is hiring! We're a mission-focused financial institution looking for a RFA Underwriter who will administer, evaluate and process multifamily loan servicing requests, including changes in ownership, changes in use, payoffs, assumptions, subordinations, and modifications to Agency loans on existing projects. The position exercises technical judgment to balance Agency mission, financial considerations and program compliance while serving as a primary contact for borrowers, attorneys, and internal teams.

This role contributes to the effective operation and continuous improvement of the Agency's preservation efforts by ensuring clear, timely and compliant servicing decisions.

Job Duties *
* + Process and evaluate RFA submissions, including collecting, verifying and interpreting legal documents and due diligence.

+ Analyze and underwrite loan servicing requests, assessing financial data, compliance requirements, long-term property health and Agency mission alignment.

+ Coordinate cross-division review, collaborating with asset management, legal, compliance, and external funding partners to resolve loan servicing issues.

+ Prepare and present clear written memos for and deliver presentations to internal committees and Agency leadership.

+ Administer and monitor the maturing loans list, ensuring timely notices, follow-up, and borrower guidance.

+ Lead annual LURA extension outreach activities, including technical review of LURA documents and coordination with owners.

+ Support RFA program operations, including procedure updates, inter-team communication, and maintenance of legal file systems.
