The City of Shoreview is seeking an intern to support natural resources staff with sustainability projects and the city's climate action plan. The position will work on outreach/education efforts for a variety of programs such as waste and energy, develop informational materials for the public, and assist with other natural resources projects. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Ability to work 20-40 hrs. per week
* Currently attending or recent undergraduate or graduate degree in environmental sciences, sustainability, natural resources, planning, or related field
* Valid driver's license
* At least 18 years old
Hours:
20-40 varied daytime hours during the week, May/June through August
