This position is located in St. Paul and may have the ability to telework.

The primary purpose of this position is to administer and oversee DMID’s dairy qualities enforcement program, including maintaining quality assurance and control oversight, and daily processing of the electronic CIS Dairy Qualities enforcement process. This position also performs other related data administration duties for the dairy inspection program, including management and administrative oversight of the Dairy Progam’s SharePoint site, and the administration, organization and management of policies, procedures, training materials and other documents for program managers.

Minimum Qualifications

One (1) year of experience in data management including data input and data quality management.

NOTE:

A bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Animal Science, Food Science, Agriculture, Information Systems Management/Development, Computers/Computer Technology, Communications, Public Health, Nutrition, or a related field may substitute for one (1) year of experience.

AND

  • A working knowledge of and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat Professional, etc. to efficiently complete work processes.
  • Experience performing quality assurance and data quality activities.
  • Experience coordinating and completing multiple tasks and activities.
  • Communications skills sufficient to effectively convey information in writing and verbally.
  • The ability to celebrate diversity and a strong commitment to a respectful and inclusive work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working to administer Share Point
  • Previous experience working in a regulatory program
  • Previous experience working collaboratively in a team to accomplish project work.
  • Previous experience working with Salesforce, OnBase, CIS, MIS, or LIS programs.
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Access, Power BI or other advanced data manipulation applications.

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture will not sponsor applicants for work visas, including STEM OPT extensions. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US.
