Part Time Housekeeping/Laundry (Maintenance)

This position maintains housekeeping in the facility, including patient rooms and public areas, and provides linen and clothing inventory and operates equipment for cleaning and ironing resident and facility laundry.

This position is 7-21 hours per pay period, including weekends. Pay range is $16.50-$18.00.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintains cleanliness/order of laundry room, equipment and supplies.
• Sorts and washes clothing and delivers linens to facility staff and residents.
• Has experience performing housekeeping tasks in a health care facility.
• Operates and maintains laundry and housekeeping equipment.
• Must meet the training and safety requirements for the department.
• Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
• Requires knowledge of or willingness to learn how to operate all equipment related to the job.
• Must be able to bend, lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lb. using proper body mechanics.
• Must be able to lift overhead with 10 lbs.
