Overview
Join Burnsville Fire as a full-time Firefighter/Paramedic and make a meaningful impact serving a community that values teamwork, professionalism, and public safety. This role is for individuals already certified as both a Firefighter and Paramedic, including those new to the field or seeking a lateral move.
Responsibilities- Respond to fire, rescue, and medical emergencies.
- Support prevention efforts.
- Participate in training.
- Help maintain equipment and readiness.
- Support a 55-member, all-hazards department operating from two stations and providing advanced life support transport.
Shifts are scheduled on 12- or 24-hour rotations.

Minimum qualifications- Valid driver’s license.
- IFSAC Firefighter II certification.
- Current National Registry Paramedic certification.
- Eligibility for Minnesota licensure.
