Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for overnight shifts, requiring ARRT-R, BLS, and proficiency with Siemens and Epic.

Responsibilities Work in an acute care, teaching hospital with a Level 3 trauma designation MRI department serving adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/trauma patient populations Night shift schedule:
Sunday 10:00 PM–6:00 AM;
Monday–Thursday 10:30 PM–6:30 AM No weekend or on-call requirements Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, musculoskeletal, and spine MRI exams with specialized sequences (MRA, MRV, MRCP, diffusion, gradient echo, etc.) Utilizes Siemens MRI equipment and PACS system EMR is Epic (Excellian); experience preferred No floating required within the hospital First-time travelers are accepted RTO ideally should not exceed 5 days Dark gray scrubs are required Night shift parking is free onsite Must provide at least one supervisor reference for consideration Travelers must not have worked as perm staff at the facility within the past 3 months Open to local candidates;

no radius restrictions

Requirements Active ARRT-R and BLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience Experience in adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/trauma settings required Proficiency in abdominal, pelvic, chest, head/neck, musculoskeletal, spine MRI, and specialized imaging techniques

Experience with Siemens MRI equipment and PACS required Ability to start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions License required if applicable Must have active license by start date
