As part of our team, you will:- Perform laboratory testing within the assigned section
- Serve as a resource for Specimen Processing, Sendouts, and the outpatient collection laboratory teams
- Support workflow on the Sendouts and Specimen Processing benches
- Participate in the training and onboarding of new employees and students
- Assist in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and training and competency programs
- Support compliance with hospital and laboratory regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Client Services Technical Specialists and Laboratory Leadership

Work scheduleFTE: 1.0 (40 hrs. weekly), Day shift Rotating holiday and every third weekend.
Required QualificationsEducation:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science, biology, or related field; successful completion of a Clinical rotation in an approved program that qualifies for ASCP, or equivalent. Advanced training and/or experience or master's degree in a specialty area can be substituted for ASCP certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a MT or MLS with at least 1 year experience in the specialty area occurring in the last 4 years.
License/Registration/CertificationCertification with ASCP or equivalent agency or eligible preferred. Must meet Continuing Education requirements to maintain certification if applicable.
