As a Banquet Manager, you will lead the daily execution of all event operations and ensure that events are carried out professionally and smoothly with your team. With your organizational talent, service understanding, and passion for hospitality, you create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Your role at Hilton Mainz:

• Individual implementation of upcoming events in consultation with the Conference & Events Department and the kitchen
• Forward-looking duty planning, adapted to the respective daily business
• Taking over shift leadership & participation in the banquet
• Supporting the setup of meeting rooms, control & creation of mise en place, coordination of coffee breaks and lunch/dinner buffets
• For our (meeting) guests, your employees, and our trainees, you are always the right contact person
• Booking events in the internal cash register system
• Ensuring good and effective cooperation, a smooth daily routine, and complete handovers
• Development and training of your team and our trainees
• Close cooperation with the Director of F&B
• With your ideas, you support the development of our gastronomic offers
• You handle challenges, which sometimes also include guest feedback, professionally and independently

You fit with us if:

• You have several years of professional and managerial experience in the banqueting sector of a large hotel
• You have ideally completed a training in the hotel industry / gastronomy
• You can flexibly adapt to new situations and also have a good overview of large events
• You want to work in an inspiring work environment in which you are encouraged and challenged
• You work communicatively and on an equal footing with your team
• You have a high quality standard for your work
• You are an organizational talent
• You speak German and English
• You have a valid work and residence permit for Germany
