Contract HRIS Implementation Consultant - Can be based anywhere in the USA

At Shockingly Different Leadership (SDL), we are changing the way HR‑functions scale up their teams during peak periods of work. SDL is a global talent development and people‑project support consultancy providing expertise in Talent Development, Organizational Development, Change Management, and Human Resources on an on‑demand or flexible basis.

We want to add to our team an experienced HRIS Implementation Consultant to lead successful implementation and change management for our clients. This project work is typically 3‑6 months long and helps clients prepare for the HRIS launch, the go‑live period, and the post‑implementation phase. Ensuring successful integration of the new HRIS system is our measure of success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading HRIS implementation projects and ensuring alignment with business processes.
  • Executing end‑to‑end change management, from strategy and planning to execution, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with vendor technical leads and HRIS champions to secure high ROI.
  • Managing stakeholder engagement and communications across multiple locations.
  • Co‑creating with leaders to embed change throughout a global organization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in HRIS implementation.
  • Solid knowledge of change models and experience embedding change across a global organization, preferably in HR systems such as Workday.
  • Experience working with remote and office‑based employees.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to plan and execute stakeholder engagement.
