We are seeking a Recruiting Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team in a temporary role with the possibility of becoming a permanent position based on business needs.

This hybrid/mobile position primarily works from home while supporting leaders across assigned business areas. Candidates must reside within a reasonable driving distance of the Twin Cities metro area, as occasional onsite visits will be required for hiring leader meetings, team meetings, career events, and other business needs.

Position Summary

As a Recruiting Specialist, you will partner closely with hiring leaders to develop and execute recruitment strategies that attract, engage, and hire top talent. Serving as a trusted Talent Acquisition consultant, you will provide expertise on sourcing strategies, workforce planning, recruitment trends, process improvements, and hiring best practices.

This role manages the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing and marketing positions, screening and evaluating candidates, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and ensuring a seamless transition into onboarding.

Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Recruitment
  • Lead recruitment activities for a variety of positions, including healthcare, business, operational, technical, and professional roles.
  • Manage the full recruitment process from requisition intake through offer acceptance.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet minimum qualifications and organizational needs.
  • Conduct phone screenings and interviews using various methods and tools.
Hiring Leader Partnership
  • Conduct recruitment strategy meetings with hiring leaders to establish expectations, timelines, and hiring plans.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on recruitment trends, market conditions, sourcing strategies, processes, and tools.
  • Provide regular updates and consultation throughout the recruitment process.
  • Recommend hiring strategies that support organizational goals and workforce needs.
Candidate Experience
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through proactive communication and timely follow-up.
  • Answer applicant questions and provide guidance throughout the hiring process.
  • Coordinate interviews and facilitate effective candidate evaluation processes.
  • Deliver and negotiate employment offers and communicate hiring decisions professionally.
Recruitment Operations
  • Develop and recommend job offer details, including experience assessments, market research, and internal equity considerations.
  • Ensure all employment documentation and recruitment records are accurate, complete, and compliant.
  • Participate in job fairs, career events, hiring events, and other recruitment activities.
  • Continuously evaluate recruitment outcomes and identify opportunities for process improvements and measurable results.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and site leadership to support hiring initiatives and organizational change.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Arts Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources or related field or in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 4 years recruitment experience within healthcare or related fields
  • 2 years recruitment experience
  • Experience with process improvement
  • Fluency in at least one applicant tracking system
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Arts MA-HRIR or
  • Masters in Business Admin
  • 3 years experience in healthcare in a multi-union, multi-site environment
