Human Relations Business Partner (HRBP)

LTS Lohmann is seeking an experienced Human Relations Business Partner to support our West St. Paul, Minnesota site. This role will partner closely with leaders and employees across a site of approximately 200 employees. The HR Business Partner will lead and coordinate site-specific HR operations, including employee relations, payroll and benefits support, performance management, compliance, retention initiatives, onboarding, and employee engagement.

This

role is primarily onsite in West St. Paul, MN, with some hybrid potential based on business needs.

What You’ll Do:

HR Operations and Administration
  • Maintain site-specific HR metrics, reports, employee information, policies, and handbook updates in partnership with site and global HR teams.
  • Support site communications, meetings, and employee events through clear materials, presentations, and coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including unemployment-related inquiries and hearings as needed.
  • Support benefits administration, annual open enrollment, employee benefit questions, life event changes, leave administration, and employee census submissions.
  • Partner with brokers and internal teams to coordinate employee communications and benefits meetings.
  • Provide payroll support and ensure related documentation is accurate and timely.
Employee Relations, Talent, and Engagement
  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to site supervisors, managers, and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and workplace matters.
  • Investigate employee concerns, support conflict resolution, and help ensure HR policies are applied consistently and fairly.
  • Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation, including HRIS-related onboarding activities.
  • Support recruiting activities by coordinating onsite interviews, partnering with Talent Acquisition, and helping maintain a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain current job descriptions and site organization chart updates in partnership with department leaders and HR.
  • Lead and support employee engagement efforts, volunteer committees, site events, leadership forums, terminations, exit interviews, and related follow-up actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role; 8-10 years of experience preferred.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred.
  • HR experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in employee and company matters.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and HRIS systems;
