As an HR Generalist, you'll play a key role in supporting our employees and business operations while gaining exposure to a wide range of HR projects and initiatives. With a primary focus on payroll administration and recruiting, you'll also have opportunities to assist with onboarding, employee support, HR programs, and special projects that drive our organization forward.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organized, and is excited to develop new skills in a collaborative and supportive environment. You'll learn from experienced HR professionals, contribute to meaningful work, and make an impact from day one. The position begins with an in‑office training period designed to provide the knowledge and hands‑on experience needed for success.

Upon successful completion of training, the role transitions to a hybrid schedule, working Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with three days in the office and two days remotely.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist supports the day‑to‑day operations of the Human Resources function s entry‑level role provides hands‑on support across recruitment, payroll coordination, and HR administration, while gaining exposure to employee relations, compliance, and HR systems. This position is ideal for a highly organized and detail‑oriented professional looking to build a career in Human Resources while contributing to a fast‑paced, multi‑state organization.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Support
  • Support full‑cycle recruiting efforts, including posting positions, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews
  • Partner with hiring managers to support timely hiring decisions
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and candidate pipelines
  • Ensure a positive experience throughout the hiring process
HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle
  • Process employee lifecycle transactions, including new hires, status changes, transfers, and terminations
  • Support onboarding activities, including pre‑employment requirements and orientation coordination
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures
Payroll & HRIS Support
  • Support payroll processing activities, including collecting and validating employee data changes
  • Assist with timekeeping and payroll adjustments
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors (e.g., PEO or HRIS) to ensure payroll accuracy
  • Assist with HRIS data entry, reporting, and audits
Compliance & Risk Mitigation
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and employment laws
  • Support HR audits and documentation requests
  • Assist in maintaining policies, procedures, and employee data to ensure audit readiness
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
Employee Experience & HR Support
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and programs
  • Assist with coordination of performance management processes
  • Provide administrative support for training and development initiatives
  • Collaborate with leadership and employees to support a positive and compliant work environment
Site Compliance & Auditing Responsibilities
  • Support ongoing compliance with ACHC, CMS, and regulatory standards
  • Assist with audit preparation, documentation collection, and policy review
  • Maintain HR documentation in a state of audit readiness
  • Identify and elevate potential compliance issues or gaps
  • Support continuous improvement and regulatory readiness initiatives
