IT Asset Management and Endpoint Support Technician

Onsite: 375 Jackson St. St Paul, MN

Contract Duration: 1 year

Description:

We seek a meticulous and detail-oriented IS Asset Management and Endpoint Support Technician to join our team. This pivotal role involves managing the entire life cycle of the organization's assets. The selected candidate will track, store, distribute, and document all company equipment, inventory, and supplies.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong commitment to maintaining accurate records. They will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency by streamlining processes related to asset management. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is dedicated to upholding the integrity of our inventory systems.

This position is to create redundancy for our current staff who will lead this position.

This person needs to have level 2 technical skills. They will also be responsible for provisioning and installing software for hardware that needs to be shipped.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting:
    Accurately diagnose and resolve a variety of hardware, software, and network-related issues for personal computers and approved endpoint systems. This includes both on-site and remote troubleshooting to maximize efficiency.
  • Installation and Configuration:
    Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and some Linux applications, along with related peripheral devices.
  • Receive, store, and issue equipment, tools, and supplies securely and organized.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking and updating information in the asset management system.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure proper stock levels and identify discrepancies.
  • Process and fulfill equipment requests from internal departments, ensuring timely delivery.
