The purpose of your role as a MRP Project Manager

The MRP Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and delivering Harris’s Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system implementations and improvements. This role coordinates cross-functional teams—including manufacturing, supply chain, technology, and finance—to ensure the MRP solution supports business goals, improves planning accuracy, and enhances operational efficiency.

  • Own end-to-end delivery of technology projects starting with MRP initiatives, including system implementations, enhancements, and process improvements
  • Shape project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and success metrics to drive measurable results
  • Lead data migration, system configuration, testing, and go-live execution
  • Track post-launch performance and champion continuous improvement initiatives

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with teams across industrialized construction, procurement, inventory, logistics, finance, and technology to deliver aligned solutions
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements
  • Ensure seamless integration and alignment between mission-critical business systems
  • Lead and coordinate vendors, consultants, and internal teams supporting MRP initiatives
  • Set priorities, manage deliverables, and drive accountability across all contributors

Risk, Governance & Quality Control

  • Proactively identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution
  • Establish governance standards, testing practices, and controls to maintain system reliability and data integrity

Change Management & Adoption

  • Lead change management efforts to drive adoption and user confidence
  • Develop training materials, communication plans, and support strategies to ensure smooth and successful rollouts

What we’re looking for in you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of MRP fundamentals, including BOMs, routings, lead times, demand planning, inventory control, supply chain management, and supplier management
  • Experience leading technology-driven projects from planning through delivery
  • Demonstrated project management experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
  • Background working in manufacturing and/or supply chain environments
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or Microsoft
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications preferred
