• Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems.
• Helps develop, document, communicate, and enforce a network technology policy.
• Responsible for the installation and configuration of new software and hardware, including the server network, devices, and firewalls.
• Monitors system performance, IT system operations and storage utilization.
• Plans ahead for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth.
• Manages user accounts and assets and assigns and updates security permissions on the network according to security policy.
• Participates in the help desk requests via phone and ticketing
• Provides support with escalated help desk requests.
• Mentors team members and educates users.
• M365, Intune, and Autopilot management
• Other duties as assigned.

• BS in computer science, information systems or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the IT sector
• Advanced knowledge of operating systems and networking.
• Sound understanding of the principles of routing, firewalls, and client/server applications.
• Understanding of system security and data recovery.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, with team members and managers at all levels of the organization and represent Mac Queen in a professional manner.

• Typically sits, grasp items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally.
• Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs occasionally.
• Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards.
• Travel by air or car occasionally.

Compensation: This position is classified as Salary Grade 8, with a salary range of $78,595.99 to $
