Congo​/PROs Technical Architect

Location: St. Paul, MN
Salary: $75.00 USD Hourly - $80.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Congo/PROs Technical Architect with deep expertise in Conga CPQ/CLM and PROS Smart CPQ platforms
. In this role, you will lead end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of complex CPQ and revenue optimization solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performing systems that support pricing, quoting, and contract lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Lead discovery sessions to gather business requirements for CPQ, pricing, and contracts
• Design end-to-end CPQ solutions, including data models and integration patterns
• Define technical architecture and ensure alignment with best practices
• Evaluate and recommend optimal approaches (configuration vs. customization vs. integrations)

Implementation & Delivery

• Configure Conga CPQ / PROS solutions (product catalog, pricing, workflows, approvals, document generation)
• Develop Salesforce components (Apex, Triggers, LWC, Visualforce)
• Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs with ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce)
• Lead data migration from legacy systems
• Perform code reviews and maintain development standards

Pricing & Optimization (PROS)

• Design and implement AI-driven pricing models and deal scoring
• Configure pricing tables, segmentation, and guidance rules
• Enable analytics and reporting for revenue and margin optimization

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary technical point of contact
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance
• Support project planning, estimation, and risk management
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution design and demos

Quality & Governance

• Define QA standards and testing strategies (Unit Testing, UAT)
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations
• Manage platform upgrades and technical debt

Required Experience

• 8+ years in enterprise software implementation
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Conga CPQ (Apttus) or PROS Smart CPQ
• 3+ years in a Technical Architect or Solution Architect role
• Experience delivering large-scale CPQ implementations

• Salesforce (Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL)
• REST/SOAP APIs
• Conga Composer / Sign / Contracts
• PROS Pricing & Configuration modules
• ERP integrations (SAP S/4
  
  HANA or Oracle)

Preferred Certifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer I/II
• Salesforce Application Architect
• Conga CPQ Certification
• PROS Certification
