Job DescriptionPLEASE NOTE:
- It is a 100% onsite position across the Twin Cities 7-County Metro Area (Field work: Inside and Outside).

Location:
Ramsey County (St. Paul) or Hennepin County (Minneapolis/Inner Suburbs) strongly preferred due to the central commute.
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly mobile and hands-on Field Network Technician to support enterprise system infrastructure. In this role, you will travel throughout the 7-county metro area to install, replace, and troubleshoot network switches and ports. You will act as the "boots on the ground," working directly with remote and on-site System Engineers to diagnose connectivity issues and ensure hardware is deployed successfully.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install or replace physical network switches and ports within system infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with System Engineers and the network team to diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity, wireless, and workspace power system issues.
- Identify, safely load, secure, and transport required hardware equipment in organization-owned vehicles.
- Assist Systems Engineers with the physical layout of new infrastructure equipment.
- Thoroughly document all work performed and hardware delivered using pictures, detailed notes, and shared spreadsheets.
- Communicate set-up issues, planned work completion, and transportation schedules promptly with the engineering team.
- Provide knowledge transfer to other team members as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED AND four (4) or more years of relevant work experience; OR An Associate/Technical degree (or higher) AND two (2) or more years of relevant work experience.
- Cisco certification and Azure certification are highly desired.
- Demonstrated experience with general low-voltage power and multi-media connectivity.
- Experience using Solar Winds.
- Ability to read accurately and interpret blueprints and floor plans.
- You must have highly reliable personal transportation to commute to variable daily job sites. All travel expenses would be reimbursed.
