Director of U.S. Government Sales & Business Development

This is a senior, strategic role focused on expanding direct engagement with U.S. Department of Defense and civilian agencies. You will take full ownership of government sales and capture efforts, leading the creation, development and execution of a scalable business development strategy. This includes managing early-stage partnerships, shaping procurement pathways, and building a direct route to market. You will influence decision-makers, manage long-cycle pursuits, and help drive adoption of advanced uncrewed systems across defense and public safety sectors.

A market leader in wireless communications for robotics and UAVs, this fast-growing manufacturer has delivered five consecutive years of 50% annual growth. Their high-performance radio and networking solutions are deployed globally in mission-critical environments and trusted by top-tier OEMs. With a strong foundation of engineering and a growing global footprint, the company is now investing in direct U.S. government expansion and seeking a proven leader to shape that strategy.

  • Build the BD and capture strategy from the ground up for DoD and federal customers
  • Work directly with the VP of Global Sales on a high-priority growth initiative
  • Engage with top-tier programs, partners, and customers at the heart of defense innovation

To Be Successful, You’ll Need:

  • A proven background in U.S. government business development and capture, ideally within UAVs, C5

    ISR, or adjacent sectors
  • Experience shaping and winning programs across FAR and non-FAR acquisition paths
  • Strong stakeholder relationships across DoD and public safety agencies, with an understanding of how to turn pilots into programs
