Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, resolving issues with our products, and helping to ensure our customers are satisfied with our services. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-8 years of experience in technical support, with strong communication skills and a proven track record of success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and other channels as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with our products and services
  • Collaborate with other teams, including Development, QA, and Operations, to resolve complex issues
  • Document and escalate issues to senior engineers or management when necessary
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed
  • Create and maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Provide training to customers and other support engineers as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in technical support or a related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of software products and services, including operating systems, databases, and web applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Experience with support tools such as JIRA, Zendesk, or Salesforce preferred
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell preferred but not mandatory
