Salary Range: $64,500 to $73,000
The University of St. Thomas has provided a salary range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The specific salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information.
JOB SUMMARY
The CRM Administrator will manage the Enterprise CRM (Constituent Relationship Management) system and product ecosystem. They will assist with the design, development, testing, deployment, and support as well as ensuring the security and integrity of the system. The CRM Administrator will provide technical guidance and mentorship to student interns, delegated administrators and developers. They will collaborate with business stakeholders and users to gather, analyze, and document requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
CRM Development
- Execute assigned monthly sprint stories, with weekly stakeholder updates recorded within our Jira environment based on teams standardized process.
- Troubleshoot errors and client tickets by conducting thorough debugging, profiling, and system log analysis independently.
- Create, maintain, and document Salesforce configuration and declarative development including create and maintain Salesforce custom fields, custom objects, lightning page layouts, list views, reports, dashboards, formula fields, validation rules, user permissions, and governance to streamline business processes based on monthly sprints approved by CRM Steering Committee or Director of CRM.
- Understanding of Salesforce backend development toolset including Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL), process builder, flow automation builder, Omni Studio, Apex classes and triggers, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
- Continuously explore new Salesforce features that can enhance student services, experience, and operational efficiency. Propose them to team during solutioning meetings.
CRM Operations
- Product Ownership for assigned Salesforce tool suite add-ons including access, training, documentation, security, data management, upgrade management, and subject matter expert.
- Manage user creation, roles, profiles, permission sets, and license allocations to ensure secure and appropriate access.
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and configuration of our multiple Salesforce environments (production, staging, sandboxes).
- Follow CRM Release Processes:
Follow processes set by Senior Admins and Director for regular Salesforce releases, ensuring all new features are evaluated, configured, and tested before deployment. - Manage and complete user tickets in a timely manner and according to team standards.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director.
Stakeholder & Project Management
- Be a Salesforce subject matter expert who can translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- When assigned to an ITS project, conduct detailed needs analyses, user interviews, and feasibility studies to define project requirements, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Develop and maintain necessary user stories within Jira for the project, ensuring realistic alignment with our monthly sprints and balanced workloads for all team members. Utilizing our pre-built monthly backlog sprints.
