Position: IS Business Analyst Principal (HRIS Analyst)

Senior-level HRIS Systems Analyst/Administrator with extensive experience supporting enterprise HCM platforms and leading complex HR technology initiatives. This role will serve as a key technical & functional resource for Workday, with responsibilities spanning security, integrations, reporting, configuration, testing, and production support. It will also maintain and support the organization’s legacy People Soft environment during the transition and ongoing operational needs.

Key Responsibilities include:

Conduct complex analysis of business processes, technology solutions and system infrastructure; coordinate business process redesign projects.

Lead business process/workflow analysis and fit/gap analysis; provide change management mentoring.

Establish design concepts and timelines, coordinate with cross-department staff, and review final products.

Gather and integrate data from multiple sources to evaluate project work priorities, procedures, and processes.

Lead the validation and realization of business requirements through the project life‑cycle.

Create and document long‑term strategies; translate business needs into IS directions; prepare and present plans.

Lead special analytical studies, research, and analyses to determine and communicate business requirements.

Implement new processes; oversee and monitor processes for efficacy and adherence.

Establish and maintain positive business relationships with management enterprise‑wide.

Provide advice and recommendations to user and development groups; document system recommendations.

Consult with departments to build capacity and ensure appropriate project management and business analysis frameworks.

Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation between program staff, vendors, and the IS Department; mitigate risks.

Lead business process owners in evaluating process improvement opportunities that include technology solutions.

Assist in the development of less experienced business analysts through mentoring.

Education
:
Bachelor’s degree.

Experience
:
Seven years as a functional analyst/business analyst/system analyst in IT or related area.

Substitution
:
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
