Cybersecurity Sr. Specialist

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Sr. Specialist for a prominent client in St. Paul, MN - 55117
. Pay Rate: $53 Hourly - ONSITE. Duration: 6+ months assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.

• MUST have experience with Data Lakes, Databricks or Snowflake
• Senior Cybersecurity Specialist – focused on Cyber Data Platforms – new initiative and position.

• Process or creating and rolling out a new enterprise Cyber Data Lake for products and applications, will require dedicated support to onboard internal teams, enable data usage, and ensure proper governance.
• Cyber Data Lake Onboarding – getting teams, applications, sub‑components, understanding what should be logged and building components to support audit / compliance readiness.
• Prioritizing requests from multiple stakeholders, working with Engineers on ingestion pipelines and schemas for data lake, monitoring data quality + governance, and resolving any data feed and integrity issues.
• 40% team onboarding and enablement, 25% stakeholder support + analytics, 20% governance of platform and data quality, 15% meetings – enabling the data the teams need to perform those functions.
• Top items sought – Cybersecurity Data + Telemetry (importing, ensuring integrity, maintaining access in cyber data lake) – experience with Data Platforms, Data Lake (Databricks and Snowflake experience would be great) – stakeholder management.
• Tools:
  Zigas, AlphaSOC, Databricks, potentially Splunk (but it's not security monitoring, very much data side).
