Senior-Level HRIS Systems Analyst/Administrator

We are seeking a senior-level HRIS Systems Analyst/Administrator with extensive experience supporting enterprise HCM platforms and leading complex HR technology initiatives. This role will serve as a key technical and functional resource for Workday, with responsibilities spanning security, integrations, reporting, configuration, testing, and production support, while also maintaining and supporting the organization's legacy People Soft environment during the transition and ongoing operational needs.
The position will additionally support UKG WFM Pro, Cornerstone (Learning Management System), and Neo Gov Onboard, Insight, and Performance modules, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement across the HR technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience managing full system lifecycle activities, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and delivering scalable HRIS solutions that support organizational objectives.
Under general direction, works cross-functionally with internal IS and service team staff, providing the technical liaison expertise required to design and deploy IS systems solutions, many of which are technical. Provides leadership and direction to IS Business Analysts and IS Senior Business Analysts; executes frameworks or assumes responsibility for the completion of major projects; performs or oversees all or most of the systems development life cycle and ongoing administration functions including needs analysis, feasibility analysis, structured system analysis, technology and software assessment, project planning and management, implementation and testing, user training, post-implementation assessment and directs and participates in complex studies.
Work is performed within a broad framework of general policy and requires creativity and resourcefulness to accomplish goals and objectives and in applying concepts, plans and strategies which may deviate from traditional methods and practices.
Flexible Workplace:
This position is identified under the designation of 'flex work eligible', meaning that the employee can formally opt to be in-office full-time or work a flex schedule in which at least two-days per week are performed in office and other days can be performed in a remote-first environment. Regardless of selection, the position carries expectations regarding on-site responsibilities and will require schedule flexibility beyond the minimum expectations set forth in the county's flexible workplace policy.
