The Internal Systems Analyst serves as the agency's primary resource for business systems support, financial transaction support, and continuity of digital operations. The role ensures the reliability and effectiveness of specialized technology systems, providing guidance on internal system workflow configuration, vendor coordination, troubleshooting, testing, and user support. It also supports financial transaction processes to ensure compliance and accountability. The incumbent provides critical continuity support for operational systems essential to licensing, enforcement, financial processing, and agency service delivery.
Through collaboration with leadership, staff, and external partners, the incumbent translates business needs into functional technical solutions, helps strengthen operational integrity, and supports the agency's mission to safeguard public health and safety. This role functions as a multi-disciplinary operational technology resource within a small agency environment.
This position is eligible for a hybrid telework arrangement. With a telework agreement, onsite attendance will be required for team members or as requested by management to meet business needs. Completion of a telework agreement will be required. Please review the Telework Policy () for details.
** Minimum Qualifications*

+ Two years of experience with business systems administration, workflow configuration, operational support processes, or data management.
+ Ability to troubleshoot system and user issues, coordinate resolutions with vendors, MN.IT and other stakeholders.
+ Ability to gather and interpret business needs and translate them into practical system or workflow solutions.
+ Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences through training, documentation, and user support.
+ Strong organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
+ Skills in testing system changes, validating results, and documenting issues and processes related to agency operations.
** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Knowledge of the board's organizational structure, controls, methods, and procedures to provide critical continuity support for operational systems.
+ Experience coordinating with vendors, technical staff, and end users to support system operations, resolve issues, monitor activities, and recommend process improvements.
+ Knowledge of financial transaction processing, reconciliation practices, audit support activities, and internal controls related to payment systems and reporting.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
