We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic technology leader to serve as Vice President – Manager of Enhanced Authentication Services. This role is responsible for the ownership, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise authentication platforms, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable access across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Product Ownership & Strategy.
- Serve as primary business and technology owner for enterprise authentication services.
- Define and execute product roadmaps aligned with security strategy, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
- Ensure delivery of highly available, resilient, and scalable authentication platforms.
- Platform Leadership.
- Own and oversee Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.
- Oversee Enterprise VPN platforms.
- Manage Federated identity and SSO systems.
- Lead Multi‑factor authentication (MFA) platforms.
- Direct Customer authentication solutions.
- Govern Network access control (NAC) and policy enforcement systems.
- Operational Excellence.
- Implement automation strategies to reduce operational overhead and improve efficiency.
- Lead incident‑reduction initiatives and ensure proactive problem management.
- Establish and maintain SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics.
- Financial & Resource Management.
- Manage staffing models and optimize resource allocation through automation and efficiency improvements.
- Drive cost‑reduction initiatives while maintaining service quality and compliance.
- Oversee budget planning, forecasting, and vendor management.
- Security, Risk & Compliance.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements such as PCI compliance.
- Partner with risk, audit, and compliance teams to address findings and strengthen controls.
- Maintain strong governance over identity and access management practices.
- Leadership & Team Development.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high‑performing technical teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Build strong cross‑functional relationships across infrastructure, security, and application teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 8 years of experience managing IT teams and driving strategic initiatives.
- At least 5 years of experience configuring and installing software for distributed services across heterogeneous platforms.
- At least 10 years of experience within an information technology environment.
- Experience in large, regulated enterprise environments, especially financial services.
- Knowledge of audit frameworks and regulatory compliance such as PCI DSS.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCNE, or related security/network credentials.
- Expertise in authentication technologies: MFA, SSO, federated identity, VPN, Zero Trust architectures.
- Strong background in IT operations, service delivery, automation, process optimization, vendor and product management.
- Proven success in driving cost savings, operational efficiencies, improving system availability, and reducing incident volumes.

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
