Location:
Saint Paul, MN 55144 Duration: 12 months (can extend) Rate: $60-$80 100% On-Site Exp: 8+ Years
Must Have
Skills:
- Excellent network administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding and troubleshooting skills of TCP/IP, Switching & Routing protocols, MPLS, Load balancing
- Knowledge and experience in STP, VTP, HSRP, VLAN, QoS and other switching technologies
- Good knowledge & hands on experience on Palo Alto Firewalls and Juniper switches
- Good knowledge and experience on Cisco Wireless Controllers
- Ability to understand the design and provide suggestions for improvements
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple geographically dispersed teams
- Excellent listening skills & ability to communicate clearly and fluently in English
- Flexibility to work in shifts for 24x7 support
- Strong team player with a constructive perspective and commitment to the success of the business
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with conflicting priorities
- Product knowledge:
- Routing Protocols, especially MPLS, BGP, EIGRP
- Cisco Routers -- 7200, 3800, 3600, 2800, 2900, 881
- Firewalls -- Cisco ASA
5550, Checkpoint, Palo Alto - Security -- IDS, IPS
- Load Balancers – F5
- Switches -- Nexus 9K/7K/5K/2K, Cisco 9300/6500/4500/3750/2960, Juniper switches
- WLAN – Wireless LAN Controllers, WCS, Cisco WLAN Controllers o P , PfR and ASRs o Zscaler (ZIA) o SD-WAN o Cisco ACI using Spine-Leaf
