The Internal Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing real time technical support for the global support organization and responds to technical procedural inquiries and concern. This position will advise a course of action for problem resolution and provide verbal and written communication to internal and external customers as needed.

This position reports to the Manager of Internal Technical Support, is part of the Global Product Technical Support (GPTS) team, and will be a fully ONSITE role at our facility located in Chaska, MN.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Provide real time technical support for the global support organization and responds to technical procedural inquiries and concern

+ Trend, analyze and interpret field-generated data as well as providing technical support for CAPA and technical alerts

+ Develop technical documentation, training materials, and troubleshooting tools

+ Maintain all departmental and service support related documents, while ensuring accuracy/traceability of all records to comply with GMP, ISO, FDA and company policies regarding compliance

+ Participate on project teams responsible for implementation of product enhancements and be the liaison between Field Service and Development/Tech Ops through task teams

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related field with 0+ years' experience. (New grads welcome to apply)

+ Understanding of customer's needs, expectations, and obstacles to identify and suggest ideas or enhancements

+ Understanding complex technical and non-technical documentation and effectively communicating with internal and external contacts to ensure positive outcome

+ Technical troubleshooting and data analysis skills

Travel   & Physical/Environment Requirements:

+ This position requires up to 25% flying travel, which may potentially include overnight stays.  Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.

+ This position requires the ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience with:

+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally and drive change to improve customer experience

+ Strong software knowledge, including Windows, and PCs
