Key Responsibilities
Serveastheprimaryadministratorandsubjectmatterexpertfor
Open Text Network Automation (HPNA)and enterprisenetworkmanagementplatforms.Manageplatform
performance,availability,upgrades,integrations,patching,andlifecycleactivities
.Developandexecuteplatformroadmapsalignedwithenterprisetechnologyandautomationstrategies.
Troubleshootandresolvecomplex
application,infrastructure,andautomationplatformissues
.Administerenterprise
networkconfigurationcompliance
programsandgovernanceprocesses.Develop,maintain,andenforce
networkoperatingstandards,configurationbaselines,andsecuritypolicies
.Monitorandremediate
configurationdrift
,ensuringadherencetoservicelevelagreements(SLAs) and compliance requirements.Maintaintechnicaldocumentation,audit evidence,recovery procedures,andoperationalstandardswhilepartnering withengineeringteamsonpolicyexceptionsandriskmitigationstrategies.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Six or more years of experience in application development
Preferred Skills/Experience
Expertise in Enterprise Networking technologies,network operations,routing,switching,and infrastructure management.
Hands-onexperienceadministering
Network Automation and Configuration Management Platforms ,including
Open Text Network Automation (HPNA)orsimilarsolutions.Strongknowledgeof
Configuration Compliance,Vulnerability Management,Security Baselines,and Governance Controls .Proficiency in
Automation,Scripting,Workflow Development,and Process Optimization using modern automationframeworksandtools.Experience with
Service Now Configuration Compliance Module ,policymanagement,and compliance monitoringsolutions.Advancedskillsin
PowerBI,Reporting,Dashboards,Operational Analytics,andData Visualization .Solidunderstandingof
ITRiskManagement,Regulatory Compliance,Audit Controls,Evidence Collection, and Technology Governance Frameworks .Knowledge of
Software Supply Chain Security ,cybersecuritybestpractices,andenterprisetechnologyrisk programs.Experience supporting
Large-Scale Enterprise Network Environments ,includingplatformlifecyclemanagement,upgrades,integrations,and troubleshooting.Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining automation solutions using Python to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance service reliability.
Ability to create scripts, workflows, and integrations that automate network administration, configuration management, compliance validation, inventory management, and reporting activities.
Experience consuming REST APIs, processing structured data (JSON, YAML, XML), and integrating with enterprise platforms such as Service Now, Open Text Network Automation (HPNA), Net Brain, Ascender, Datadog, Thousand Eyes, or similar technologies.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize automation code while adhering to software development best practices, version control standards, and security requirements.
Experience developing network automation solutions using Python.
Knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, SNMP, and HTTP/HTTPS.
Experience working with APIs and automation frameworks.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
Exposure to AI-assisted automation, intent-based automation, or autonomous operations platforms such as Net Brain.
Ability to translate business requirements into automated solutions with measurable operational outcomes
