Data Center Technician

Our St. Paul, MN team is looking for a driven and capable Data Center Technician 2 to help uphold the reliability and efficiency of our infrastructure. We are searching for a tech-savvy individual who enjoys solving complex challenges and is eager to contribute to our high-performing environment.

Core Duties

• Oversee data center hardware to guarantee peak functionality and consistent system availability.
• Conduct regular checks and proactive upkeep on networking gear, servers, and essential infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
• Identify and resolve technical hardware or software malfunctions, involving senior staff when issues become intricate.
• Support the setup and deployment of updated hardware and software configurations.
• Maintain precise records of all repairs and service tasks following established organizational standards.
• Work alongside colleagues to refine operational workflows and boost overall facility productivity.
• Take part in an on-call schedule to provide support during urgent or critical incidents.

Required Qualifications

• An Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or a comparable level of professional experience.
• Between one and three years of hands‑on experience within an IT support or data center setting.
• Solid grasp of networking principles, server hardware, and general data center management.
• Working knowledge of standard diagnostic tools and effective troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to foster effective team communication and collaboration.
• Physical capability to handle heavy equipment and thrive in a demanding work setting.
• Professional credentials like Network+, CompTIA A+, or similar certifications are considered an advantage.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must possess OSHA
10 certification and appropriate personal protective equipment.
