Satellite Industries seeks a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to safeguard global manufacturing, logistics, and service operations. You will design secure architectures, manage SIEM/EDR tools, and protect OT/IT networks supporting portable sanitation products. Key duties include threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and policy development. You will partner with engineering, operations, and IT teams to embed security into plant systems, cloud services, and customer-facing solutions.

Ideal candidates bring strong hands-on security experience, manufacturing or industrial exposure, and a practical, teamwork-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure architectures for manufacturing systems, cloud services, and corporate networks.
  • Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and lead containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on OT/IT assets and remediate identified risks.
  • Harden endpoints, servers, and network devices following security best practices and industry standards.
  • Manage and optimize security tools such as SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and identity and access management solutions.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with manufacturing operations.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and IT teams to embed security into projects and plant initiatives.
  • Perform third-party risk assessments and support secure integration with global customers and vendors.
  • Lead security awareness training and phishing simulations for plant and corporate staff.
  • Support compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and prepare security reports.
