The Jobsite IT Administrator is responsible for providing comprehensive, hands-on technology support for one to two large project jobsites, with time divided between assigned locations throughout the workweek. This position serves as the primary on-site IT resource for these projects and is responsible for ensuring employees have reliable access to the hardware, applications, network connectivity, and technology services required to perform their work.
This is a broad technical support role requiring strong skills in desktop administration, application troubleshooting, network troubleshooting, endpoint management, and jobsite technology support. The Jobsite IT Administrator will diagnose and resolve issues across multiple technology areas while coordinating with specialized IT teams and vendors when escalation is required.
The position requires a strong customer-service mindset, technical curiosity, and the ability to independently manage competing priorities across multiple active project locations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Three to five years of experience in desktop administration, technical support, systems support, or a related IT role.
- Strong Windows desktop administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex business application issues.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, VLANs, switching, and routing concepts.
- Experience troubleshooting wired and wireless network connectivity.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, One Drive, and SharePoint.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory) environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise endpoint management and software deployment technologies.
- Experience supporting printers, network peripherals, and other end-user technology.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting technology in construction, engineering, manufacturing, field operations, or other distributed work environments.
- Experience supporting construction and project management applications.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Microsoft endpoint technologies.
- Power Shell scripting and automation experience.
- Experience with enterprise networking equipment, wireless infrastructure, and network troubleshooting tools.
- Experience supporting audiovisual equipment and Microsoft Teams conferencing environments.
- Relevant Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or other industry certifications.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
Jobsite Technology Support:
- Serve as the primary IT point of contact for one to two large project jobsites, dividing time between assigned locations based on project and business needs.
- Develop strong working relationships with project leadership, field personnel, administrative staff, and other jobsite users.
- Maintain a regular onsite presence and proactively identify technology issues that could affect project operations.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, plotters, peripherals, applications, network connectivity, conference rooms, and other jobsite technology.
- Take ownership of technology issues from initial diagnosis through resolution, coordinating with other IT resources or vendors when necessary.
- Assist with technology planning and deployment as jobsites are established, expanded, relocated, and closed.
- Maintain jobsite technology inventory and assist with equipment deployment, replacement, recovery, and lifecycle management.
Desktop & Endpoint Administration:
- Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows laptops, iOS and Android mobile devices, and related peripherals.
- Support device provisioning, configuration, security, patching, and application deployment using enterprise endpoint management tools.
- Troubleshoot operating system, driver, hardware, peripheral, and device performance issues.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Outlook, Teams, One Drive, and SharePoint.
